The Saddler Boys by Fiona Palmer

I have read other Fiona Palmer books and I have enjoyed them all and this one is no exception.
When you first read about Natalie, city girl, taking time out to teach in a country school, you wonder just how well she will fit in.  With all the locals giving her a good country welcome, she has no choice.  Regardless of her ties to the city and her current relationship.
As for the main characters of the book I think the 2 Saddler boys were my favourite and their story was one that undoubtably won my heart.  They were realistic, loveable and had depth of character.  I knew I would be rewarded with their happy ever after and the way she delivered it will leave me smiling for a long time.
Fiona Palmer has done another great job with her writing by providing me as a reader with hours of anticipation and enjoyment. If you like Fiona’s books you will love the Saddler Boys Her best yet!
